We have been informed by Hywel Dda Health Board that we can now only do second doses.
If you have not had your first dose please contact the COVID helpline on 03003038322 to be given an appointment at the mass vaccination centres regardless of what group you are in.
All our stock can now only be used for second doses. All patients should have been given an appointment card listing the date and time for second dose, but if not made please contact the practice in the usual manner.
Your General Practice is unable to offer you certification of your Covid vaccination, a vaccination passport or letter to prove you have been vaccianted against Covid-19.
These proof of vaccination documents have not yet been developed and as such cannot be provided by your GP. As soon as we have further information, we will share it with you. In the meantime, please ensure you keep hold of the card you were given when you had your first dose and remember to bring this to your appointment for the second.
If you are seeking advice regarding vaccinations for the under 30s in light of the recent announcements on the risk of blood clots, please contact Hywel Dda.

Whilst coronavirus is infectious to children it is rarely serious. If your child is unwell it is likely to be a non-coronavirus illness, rather than coronavirus itself.
Whilst it is extremely important to follow Government advice to stay at home during this period, it can be confusing to know what to do when your child is unwell or injured. Remember that NHS 111, GPs and hospitals are still providing the same safe care that they have always done.

Like the common cold, coronavirus infection usually occurs through close contact with a person with novel coronavirus via coughs and sneezes or hand contact. A person can also be infected by touching contaminated surfaces if they do not wash their hands.
Testing of suspected coronavirus cases is carried out in line with strict regulations. This means that suspected cases are kept in isolation away from public areas and returned home also in isolation. Any equipment that comes into contact with suspected cases are thoroughly cleaned as appropriate. Specific guidance has also been shared with NHS staff to help safeguard them and others. Patients can be reassured that their safety is a top priority, and are encouraged to attend all appointments as usual.
